We wanted a user-friendly and automated security solution for our home; Vivint Smart Home was the perfect match. The best part is Vivint’s team installed the system for us. The kit has smart sensor choices that are sensitive to motion, sound, water, ice, smoke, and carbon dioxide. Vivint’s premium cloud service also allows you to store professional video content for 14 days.

Connectivity

Vivint uses independent Wi-Fi links to connect to its Smart system and minimize third-party interferences. An initial $599 starter kit onboards you to its security systems. The kit features one motion sensor, two door/ window sensors, and free additional sensors worth $100. Once you pay the initial subscription, Vivint Smart Home charges $40 for app control and 24/7 surveillance every month. You can add security devices to your monthly plan at an extra cost.
