Black Friday is quickly approaching and we want to make sure you know what you're getting into.
Research has shown that the average shopper spends $600 each year on Black Friday deals, and there's no reason why this year should be any different. But before you go shopping, make sure you know exactly what it is that you want- because if not, then those shiny objects will surely distract your attention from the things that matter most! Here are some tips for making your shopping experience as enjoyable as possible:
1) Know what it is that YOU want (and don't need). It's important to have a list of specific things before going out so that when something catches your eye in another aisle, you can remember what it is that you came for.
2) Make sure to do your research. Know what the prices of the things on the list are, and know whether or not there's a better deal somewhere else (online or in-store).
3) Be realistic about your own shopping habits. If it takes you an hour to drag your sister through every plus-sized dress in the store, or to get your brother into enough layers to keep him from shivering for an hour, then chances are you should reevaluate what it is that you want to accomplish.
4) Most importantly: Have fun! Try and make new memories while spending time with the people that matter most!
