Beetles Gel Polish How to Use

Beetles is among the few brands that provide top-quality nail polish products at affordable prices. And, the gel polish from the brand is no different.

So, if you enjoy painting your nails and want to make a fashion statement for various occasions, give this gel polish a try. But how do you apply it? Well, that’s what I’ll be telling you in this guide, so keep reading till the end.

How To Apply Beetles Gel Polish?

Step 1

First, you need to buff, file, and trim your nails for a dry and clean surface — and don’t forget to push back the cuticles. So, get rid of the shine using a drill or a file. After that, remove the dust using a brush. And there you go — you now have a clean nail surface.

Step 2

The next step is to open the bottle, but before that, be sure to roll it back and forth between your hands for a gentle mix.

Step 3

Now, it is time to apply the base coat. Once done, you need to cure the layer under the UV/LED lamp that comes with the package for about 90 seconds. If you choose to cure it naturally, you can expect the process to take about half an hour.

Step 4

In this step, you have to apply the color gel —- after putting on the first layer of nail polish, you have to let it cure for around 60 seconds. Then, apply the second and third layers one after the other, maintaining the 60-second cure time in between each application.

I strongly recommend that you don’t rush through this process to avoid clumping.

Step 5

You can now finish by applying the top coat and letting it cure under the UV/LED lamp for about two minutes.

How To Remove Beetles Gel Polish

Step 1

The first thing you need to do in order to remove the gel polish is to use a nail buffer to slightly buff off the shine from the top of your nails. Once done, consider placing your hand under a bright light to check that you haven’t missed any parts.

Step 2

Soak a pad or a cotton ball with nail polish remover and keep it on top of your nail. Then wrap the nails with a nail wrap so that the cotton ball stays secure.

Step 3

Remove the cotton ball after 15 minutes. Once the gel is entirely removed, lightly buff your nails again, and you are done.

Final Thoughts

That brings me to the end of my guide on beetles gel polish how to use. Hopefully, you are now ready to start applying the product for beautiful nails — and to remove it in case of errors.

Before I leave, here’s my last piece of advice: don’t apply a heavy base or top coat as it will cause the gel to shrink and peel off. The idea is to apply each layer evenly.

Until next time, take care!
