Night of the living dead was a 1960 horror film. It had an estimated budget of $114,000 and was filmed on location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The basic plot is married couple Ben and Barbara arrive at a rural cemetery to pay respects to Barbara's brother when they are attacked by a group of unknown people who kill Ben. Barbara manages to escape into the nearby farmhouse where she meets Ben's sister and brother-in-law. The three of them barricade themselves inside the house as more people with gruesome faces come after them.

Trick ‘R Treat is a 2007 American-Canadian anthology horror film written and directed by Michael Dougherty for Ghost House Pictures.
The story revolves around four interwoven tales that occur on Halloween night, including a man attempting to save his sadistic younger brother from the clutches of trick-or-treaters dressed as monsters. Released on October 5, 2007, Trick 'r Treat was well received by critics and grossed $14 million worldwide. The film has since been considered a cult classic by many horror fans.

Evil Dead 2 is a horror movie released in 1987 that was written by Sam Raimi. The story takes place 5 years after the events of Evil Dead. It was directed by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. The movie follows Ash, who has been living as a hermit in an old cabin outside of the fictional town of Elk Grove. He is discovered by his girlfriend Linda and her brother, Eric, and agrees to go with them on vacation up north to their family cabin as long as he can stay in the car while they go into the store for supplies.

Night of the Demons is a cult classic horror movie. It's about a group of young adults that attend a Halloween party hosted by an organization called The Hex Project. The Hex Project seeks to help people overcome their sins and they use this party as a means for doing so.

One of the most iconic horror movies of all time, is The Return of the Living Dead. This film was released in 1985 and was a real game changer for the genre. It has everything from a zombie outbreak in Pittsburgh to UFOs with glowing green gas that mutates its victims into zombies.
It had a huge impact on pop-culture with lines such as "They're coming to get you Barbara" created by the movie. It also introduced the popular, genre acronym 'BOOGIE' which stands for 'Body Of One's Generation Including Oneself'.
