After riding a mountain bike for the last 5 years, I was ready to push myself to tackle tougher and tricky trails. I decided to get a downhill bike like the Canyon Sender 6 that will help me to push myself on difficult terrain and still enjoy the ride.
The Sender 6 is an affordable downhill bike made with an aluminum frame and high-end components that make it a great bike to ride on the toughest lines at the bike park. It features specific 27.5” wheels that have limited geometry adjustments so it doesn’t have the option of mixed wheels. You only get one geometry adjustment between a 430mm and 446mm chainstay length using a rear axle flip clip. The shifter cable and rear brake line arent internally routed, but run down between the frame and the external downtube protector. Although it has limited tunability, its suspension has a well-balanced geometry curve. It's 200mm rear fork travel is perfect for handling uncompromising downhill trails.

The Sender 6 comes with a 200mm rear fork travel that can easily handle uncompromising downhills. The upgraded fit grip damper has improved compression and rebound for sensitive response and improved control and traction in the mid-stroke.
Sender 6 only has one adjustment on its chainstay length between 430mm and 446mm. the 430mm length provides a quick response on the rear when you’re taking tight corners, while the longer 446mm will help to provide more stability when riding at high speeds.
The SRAM Code R disc brakes are designed to provide consistent braking power in both wet and dry weather. The 4-piston callipers and big rotors combine to provide enough power.
A great downhill bike for both intermediate and professional riders who like ripping the bike park trails and taking on the toughest lines at high speeds.
