Coleman Gas Grill Review

Having a large yard opens up room for numerous possibilities, family picnics and barbecue sessions with friends being some of them.

And, what’s better than a highly practical griller for all these occasions? Post-retirement, my husband and I throw frequent parties on our lawn. Now, I’m sure you’d agree rushing to the kitchen at every turn to get the food ready is quite inconvenient.

So, we purchased the Coleman gas grill to help us make the most palatable vegetables and appetizing meat without missing out on all the fun.

Hi there! I’m Stacy. And today, I’ll take you through my Coleman gas grill review and help you decide if it’s worth the hype. So, without further ado, let’s begin.

What Is Coleman Gas Grill?

Coleman gas grill is a multi-purpose propane grill that lets me cook an array of sumptuous meals - from barbecue chicken to grilled sandwiches, hotdogs, seafood, and veggies.

To be honest with you, I’m way better at growing vegetables than cooking them but, with this griller, I feel like a seasoned chef. Besides, it is lightweight, and my husband and I frequently take this equipment along when we go tailgating.

How Does Coleman Gas Grill Work?

The Coleman Griller uses a one-pound propane gas cylinder to cook food on a grilling area of 285 square inches. It doesn’t require matches for lighting and comes with adjustable burners that ensure precise and fast cooking.

Besides, its enhanced burner technology produces 20,000 BTUs of cooking power for even heat distribution. In addition, you can swap the cast iron grills for griddles or stove grates to cook a variety of meals.

Coleman Gas Grill Features

The Coleman gas grill is a delight to work with, owing to its multiple unique features. I’ve highlighted each of these features to help you get a proper perspective. Let’s see what they are:

1. Impressive Grilling Power

Despite its small size, this Coleman griller has fantastic grilling potential, thanks to the 20,000 BTUs of power that makes the most out of the propane tank and minimizes fuel wastage. Besides, the three burners operate on a push-button system and can be adjusted as per your cooking needs.

So, you don’t have to worry about burning the food every time you look away; put the burner at its lowest temperature and check it after a while. Another addition that I quite liked was the integrated thermometer present inside the lockable lid with temperatures that range from 350 to 700 degrees Fahrenheit. This helps balance the internal heat and allows uniform grilling.

2. Portable

If you are looking for a griller to take to all your camping and tailgating trips, then look no further. This Coleman griller comes with wheels, an in-built handle, and foldable legs. So, I carry it around like a suitcase and store it upright in my shed.

3. Interchangeable Cooktops

You can add more dishes to your plate by replacing the cast iron grills with griddles and stove grates, which are sold separately. I usually use the griddle to make French toast, eggs, and pancakes, but you can use it for much more.

4. Wide Cooking Space

A fantastic feature of this Coleman griller is the 285 square inches wide cooking area. This makes it perfect for our gatherings with friends where we can simultaneously cook nearly 14 burgers or 20 pounds of fish.

In addition, it has two sliding side tables for placing plates, food, napkins, and sauces.
