Another tried and tested method for getting rid of fungus is using bleach and water. Simply take one cup of bleach, mix it with water and pour it into a sprayable bottle. Shake the bottle and spray it onto the affected areas after daytime when they aren’t exposed to the sun.

However, make sure you water the plants two to three days before spraying the solution. Also, you’ll have to apply it at least twice or thrice every day to eliminate fungus from your plants.

When it comes to a mild solution, baking soda and water mixture is effective, as the former is an excellent antifungal agent. All you need to take is one tablespoon of pure baking soda, pour one gallon of water into a container, and add one and a half teaspoons of plain dish soap.

After mixing everything, shake the container properly to homogenize the solution, and then spray it on and around the affected trees and shrubs. However, make sure you don’t apply it when the plants are exposed to the sun.
