Resolution performance

One of the biggest downsides to this device is the fact that it only offers resolution in 240p. This is to mean that it can only be ideal for presentations as you can hardly watch anything exciting with such resolution in this day and age. It is, however, compatible with 1080p devices, but the performance is not as exciting as you would hope.

Brightness

With this projector, you get a maximum of 400 lumens which is, truthfully, quite low. With it, you cannot watch anything in ambient light, making it only suitable to use at night or in dark rooms.

Screen size and projection distance

From a distance of one meter, this projector delivers a 24-inch screen. The maximum projection distance that you can have with it is 3 meters. This essentially means that you can have a screen size of close to 80 inches which is pretty decent.

Verdict: so, should you buy the YG300 Mini LED Projector?

If you are looking for something that will allow you to make presentations for school projects, this may be the product for you. It is easy to carry around, and affordable, and it also comes with a decent screen size.

Are there alternatives?

Yes, in place of this projector, you can use the ARTSEA Full HD Portable Projector or the Zmucen Portable Mini Projector which are both able to deliver decent performance for affordable prices.
