Lets get started.

Scream

Scream takes place in Arcadia, California and tells the story of Sidney Prescott who has to deal with a serial killer who is stalking her in her hometown.

The Addams Family is a 1991's movie based on The Addams Family comic strip and TV series, produced by Hanna-Barbera. The movie tells the story of an American family with two parents, John and MORTICIA ADDAMS.

The Omen

The Omen
  • Amazon Prime Video (Video on Demand)
  • Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner (Actors)
  • Richard Donner (Director) - David Seltzer (Writer) - Harvey Bernhard (Producer)

In the story, the protagonist is haunted by a death omen. The protagonist feels hopeless and doesn't even have a chance to make any rational change. His mental state is that of an outsider feeling like he doesn't belong in this world. He reflects on his life and questions the meaning behind his existence. He finally finds meaning in everything that has happened to him because it set him up for his ultimate purpose, or destiny.

The Omen is intriguing in its reliance on superstitions and religious beliefs without giving any explanation as to what they actually mean. I think the movie was mostly terrifying because it hints that deaths are foreshadowed through omens, but there are no means of changing what's going to happen.

Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus (4K UHD)
  • Amazon Prime Video (Video on Demand)
  • Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy (Actors)
  • Kenny Ortega (Director) - Mick Garris (Writer) - David Kirschner (Producer)

In the year 1693, three kids with attitude, Max (Omri Katz), Mary (Kirsten Dunst) and Sarah (Tara Lipinski), are accidentally transported to the Salem of 1693 where a malevolent, old crone named Winifred Sanderson (Bette Midler) is trying to steal their souls. The siblings want only to go home, but they're not sure how to get back without falling into the same trap that they arrived in. They also have to deal with a love-sick Billy Butcherson (Kenny Loggins).

The Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion

  • Rob Minkoff (Director) - David Berenbaum (Writer) - Don Hahn (Producer)

In October of 1969, a Disney film was released. The Haunted Mansion was the first ride-through attraction which used 3D film where guests boarded their own Doom Buggy to tour the haunted mansion. The project took so long that the original planned opening date for the attraction never happened. It opened about a year later in July of 1969.
