Mark the points where the four flange holes are to be drilled and take a rotary hammer. Now, attach a 1/2-inch concrete drill bit and drill a 1.5-inch hole into the marks.
Also, make sure you put on a safety glass before drilling to keep your eyes protected.
Drilling is a messy affair, and that’s why you’ll have to clean up the area properly before attaching the flange. Next, take out the screws from the concrete anchor, set them in place, and hammer them into the drilled holes.
Moving on, spray lubricant on the rubber sleeve of the flange, hold it up, and line it with the pipe portion sticking out from the floor. After that, you’ll have to push the flange down to fit it into the stub-out.
Take a wooden block and position it over the flange, and strike it with a hammer until the sleeve fits into the stub-out properly. Next, secure anchor bolts to the flange using a ratchet and socket, ensuring that they stick up so you can fix the toilet onto them without issues.
Rolling ahead, you’ll have to link the shut-off valve to the waterline pipe of the wall by covering it with a pipe-joint compound. Next, you’ll have to move the valve across it as far as it goes and crimp it.
Then, look for the hose below the toilet tank and screw it on top of the shut-off valve into the port. Once you’re done, turn on the water supply and double-check the connections by giving it a flush.
