Creating a miniature garden in a jar!

Here are the following steps:

  1. 1
Prepare the materials that you will need.
  2. 2
Fill half of the container with a layer of the soil using the spoon. Depending on what you prefer, you can also fill the bottom layer with rocks and then soil.
  3. 3
    Place rocks or driftwood.
  4. 4
Make holes in the soil. Make sure that it is big enough for the roots of your plants.
  5. 5
Place the plants and or moss inside the container using the tweezers. Make sure to massage the roots of the plant before placing them inside.
  6. 6
Add a thin layer of soil. This should be the same level as the first layer. Then, firmly press this new level of the soil.
  7. 7
Unleash the creativity in you. Do this by mixing up the plants and rocks of various sizes and colors inside the container.

Growing houseplants is a popular hobby, but you can also make your own healthy, indoor plant. Some plants are more resilient than others, but regardless of the type of plants you want to grow, making a plant in a jar is a great way to try out this fun experiment for kids and adults alike. The only tricky part is making sure your plants are watered properly, but with a little trial and error, you'll be able to achieve whatever the plant (or the plant in a jar) desires.
