How To Use Ortho WeedClear

Are you observing an unruly growth of weeds in the yard recently?

It is difficult to remember the last time I had a garden full of weeds because of the valuable gardening products I've discovered. One such product is Ortho WeedClear which removes weeds growing in patches, individually or sparsely.

So, today I'll share a short guide explaining how to use Ortho WeedClear in your garden.

What Is Ortho WeedClear?

Ortho WeedClear is a fast-acting weed killer that removes all types of weeds from the yard. It manages to clear out the unwanted weed without harming the plants or trees growing in your lawn or garden. Some of the weeds it manages to get rid of are chickweed, clover, dandelion, crabgrass, and foxtail.

In any case, one application is more than enough to get the yard clear, and the working time is pretty quick too.

How To Use Ortho WeedClear?

I like to read the instructions that come with the packaging before I use the weed spray over my grass. The guide for this product is pretty simple to follow, and you won't need any special equipment apart from regular gardening tools like watering hoses.

To begin with, connect the sprayer to your garden hose and turn on the water supply. Slide the switch on to spray the water mixed with the weed-killing solution on the lawn. You only need to spray on the area till the surface is wet, as adding more will waste your solution and not have any benefits.

Start with the furthest area of your lawn or garden and carefully spray each area with the water and weed killer mixture. You do not need to spend much time watering one section because a quick application should be enough. While watering the garden, make your way back to the end of the lawn.

After the section is covered, stop the spray by sliding the switch to "Off." Also, turn the water switch off and relieve the water pressure by changing the button back to "Water." Once the water flow is reduced to a few drips, switch the slide off and disconnect the apparatus from the garden hose.

Other Instructions

Ideally, the best time to apply weed killers is when the weeds are just visible on the lawn. The effects will be better when applied during the spring and fall because that's when the weeds are smallest.

As far as the number of applications is concerned, you need not apply the solution more than twice a year.

Final Words

If your garden consists of Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, fine fescue, ryegrass, Bermudagrass, buffalograss, or zoysiagrass, Ortho WeedClear will work wonders on your garden. And, there is no need to worry about the vegetation because it is absolutely safe for all plants.

Additionally, if you use this garden hose method to apply the solution, you can easily cover up to 5,000 square feet. So, follow this guide to the T, and you will have a weed-free lawn in no time.

Happy gardening!
