There is no dearth of spreaders in the market, each seemingly better than the other. But given the features of the TIPU Handheld Spreader, our curiosity was piqued. We decided to give it a try and here’s what we found.
Here is a quick recap of what we liked and didn't like about the Brinly Push Spreader
What Did We Like About It?
It’s easy enough to see why TIPU has grown into a household name when it comes to garden tools and equipment. This handheld spreader from the brand lives up to its name and delivers a promising performance. Take an in-depth look into all that it has to offer.
1. Ergonomic Design
Right off the bat, the design of the spreader is what makes it tick. People usually have a fair share of apprehensions about handheld tools, but TIPU takes care of that.
The spreader features grip recesses on both sides, thus ensuring a comfortable and strong hold while working. It also provides greater space for the deft movement of fingers and is spacious enough to allow for consistency during those long hours in the garden.
Finally, made of sturdy plastic, this spreader withstands heavy use and proves to be helpful in all seasons.
2. Versatile Functioning
The spreader is equipped to tackle a wide variety of materials required in landscaping. There are three adjustable openings that allow for the passage of differently-sized particles. However, in order to do so, there’s no need to charge or replace batteries.
Simply put, such a unique dosage system makes it easy for the tool to handle coarse as well as fine particles for spreading. Also, the wide opening of the device simplifies the process further!
3. Operational Efficiency
TIPU’s spreader makes landscaping an enjoyable experience rather than a chore as it allows for great ease of operation. With time-efficiency being a key concern, the process is hassle-free and effortless, irrespective of the type of terrain.
Moreover, the lid is easy to screw on and off, while a practical adjustment knob makes maneuvering the spreader a cakewalk.
Also fitted with a bayonet lock, this excellent garden tool certainly scores points for ensuring user comfort above all else. Lastly, the grip head doubles up as a spoon and makes filling easy!
What Could Have Been Better?
Although TIPU’s product ticks most of the essential boxes, it’s not without flaws.
The spreader falters only in one aspect and that’s the filling process. The top of the tool is prone to get stuck and operating it might be a difficult task for some. So, users may find it cumbersome even though it does an excellent job of spreading.
Such issues are likely to mar the experience of using this otherwise excellent piece of equipment, so we’d recommend contacting customer care in the case of problems.
