What Did We Like About It?
This product is known to be an ideal broadcast spreader that operates smoothly and spreads evenly. It is an excellent replacement for the traditional bags which people would carry on their backs. Let's move on to the features.
1. Capacity
It has a capacity of 40 lbs, which makes it big enough to carry fertilizers for a large backyard. It measures 14.2 x 20 x 23 inches and weighs 9 pounds. This makes it slightly heavy, but given all of its heavy-duty parts, that is to be expected.
2. Water Resistance
Like any spreader, you’ll be using this product a lot outdoors; it is prone to seeing a lot of water and moisture. So, to protect it from sudden rain, it comes with a rain cover. If you are using it in a large field, it will keep the body safe until you make way into the house.
Also, adding to the convenience, the body is rustproof and will not be affected by moisture. This quality is essential for a product like this because it tends to get wet and needs to be cleaned quite often.
Fertilizers would cause the spreader to start smelling, if it is not cleaned properly. So, you would have to wash it thoroughly. That’s where the rust proof body comes to the rescue!
3. Ease of Use
With the Dual Port Adjustable Shut-Off System, one can easily control how the fertilizers, seeds, or other materials are spread based on their weight and flight qualities.

What Could've Been Better?
We found that the strap was not a perfect fit for us. If you have a lean and thin body, the straps will hang too low for your convenience. For people with a heavier frame, it will fit with ease, but we had to re-sew the straps and add padded sleeves for comfort.
Also, the product is priced high. Now we would say, with so many amazing features, this is a great option to invest a little more money in, but if you are an average homeowner, this may be over your budget.
