And even though it is my favorite hobby, sometimes, my half-a-century old body gets exhausted after a few minutes of gardening! So, in my quest for a yard care device that performs efficiently without causing fatigue, I came across the Husqvarna String Trimmer. And since I wanted to treat myself to a shopping spree, I went ahead and bought the optional attachments, too.

The Husqvarna String Trimmer is a powerful gas trimmer that helps me achieve a neatly trimmed edge in record time. With freshly cut grass and no weeds, my backyard makes the perfect getaway after a long day.
Its SmartStart trimmer technology allows seamless operation as it decreases cord resistance by 40%. This implies that the engine is easy to start and work with throughout the trimming process. So, there’s not a day when my lawn doesn’t look perfect!
The Husqvarna String Trimmer features a 28cc engine that ensures efficient weed whacking and mowing. It runs on a mixture of 2-cycle oil and unleaded gas, filled in an included bottle that mentions the necessary instructions.
Gardening itself requires a lot of patience, so it helps to own tools that are easy to handle and use. Thus, I’m a fan of the “Tap’ N Go” release feature that lets me dispense a new trimmer line while I’m trimming. And thanks to its T25 trimmer head, line reloading is a breeze.
Now, I’ll be talking about the standout features of the Husqvarna String Trimmer that allow effortless yard care.
Right off the bat, the 28cc 2-cycle engine impressed me with its sharp and robust performance. Out of all the trimmers and weed whackers I’ve used till now, this unit takes the crown in terms of power. So, all you have to do is move it around while enjoying an evening stroll, and its 17-inch trimmer head will give your lawn the cleanest cuts each time.
The release and reload function also allows convenient handling. All I do is shove the trimmer head against the grass to release a new trimmer line. And since it features a T25 trimmer head, replacing the trimmer line is no big deal either.
The three-position choke is another useful addition as it allows me to start, warm up, and cool down the machine effortlessly.
Although you’ll have to buy the additional accessories separately, I highly recommend investing in them.
Starting with the edger, which offers a 2-inch deep cut, I use this attachment when I want to trim my flowerbeds. On the other hand, the cultivator sports 8-inch steel blades that allow efficient tilling around tree bases.
Lastly, the pole saw extends up to 12 feet and helps me reach those branches that have a mind of their own!
Before using the trimmer, you’ll have to fill the 2.6 oz. bottle with a gas and oil mixture. However, the label on the bottle mentions the exact ratio of the mix, so no guesswork there.
Since this trimmer weighs just 10.8 pounds, it is easy to handle and work with for longer periods. The detachable shaft further allows convenient transport and storage.
