Flowers That Start With The Letter H

Haven't you ever just loved the color of flowers? The way they make your garden a little bit more lively? I know that it's hard to find flowers that start with the letter H, but I'm here to tell you about some amazing options. Hollyhocks are tall and have these lovely big pink blooms on them. Hibiscus is bright red in color and has a pretty thick stem which makes them easy to pick up. Hyacinths grow from bulbs and are purple or blue depending on what type you get. These plants can be found anywhere!

Heather

The heather flower is a very pretty purple in color. It's hard to find this in gardens for obvious reasons, but it's super easy to grow yourself! There are different varieties of heather that have other colors on them besides purple, so if you're interested in something more eccentric than the garden variety, go ahead and make your own.

Put some seeds in a pot and add a little bit of soil to the top of it. Make sure that you water the soil every day and keep it moist while waiting for your flower to grow. Once you see your stem growing out, make sure that you are still giving plenty of sun rays! It should take about three weeks to grow a flower from making the seeds, so make sure that you check on it carefully.

Just to let you know, heather is actually a kind of shrub plant that grows in mountains and hills. That's why this particular flower is so great at thriving when there isn't much water available. You can keep this plant inside or outside depending on your preference.

Hebe

Today we're going to discuss the Hebe flower. This is really a unique plant because of the color and its pretty glossy coat. It's in season during the middle of spring so if you want to get your hands on it, this is when you can start looking for stores that are carrying them.

What I like about this particular flower is the fact that it's so bright and colorful. It has an almost electric feel to it because of how large the bloom on top is. I like to use it for bouquets when I'm going to give them as gifts or when I'm just hanging around with friends in my backyard during a summer BBQ. It really makes everything more lively and it gives a mysterious feel to anything.

Helenium

The Helenium flower looks like a daisy in color. It's very similar to the sunflower. I personally think that the stem is much more interesting on this particular flower because it has a black base and white petals on top of it. Some people say that it looks like tiny little moons or stars if they're looking at them close enough.

It's a really nice flower to have in your garden because it can be picked and used for different occasions. You can use them as decoration on little kids' birthday cakes, you could put some of them around the house during a party or you could even just carry them around with you while going about your daily business (provided that they are not dying).

Heliotrope

The heliotrope flower is a really interesting type of plant because it has these little white flowers on them and they actually smell like vanilla. I know that this kind of information isn't exactly what you're looking for if you want to know more about the color or anything, but it's important to remember that there are plenty of different types of flowers out there.

Anyways, if you want to grow your own heliotrope plant it's actually not that hard of a process. It starts with a seed, so all you have to do is put some soil in a pot and stick the seed at the bottom. You should make sure that you keep this area moist for about two days after planting the seed.

Hellebore

The hellebore flower is also called the Christmas rose. People use this flower to decorate their houses during the Christmas season because it has a red and white color scheme that goes along with what's going on during that time of the year. It's actually a pretty easy plant to grow if you know what you're doing. All you have to do is find a sunny spot in your house and put the seeds in either some soil or just put them on top of some paper.

Hibiscus

The hibiscus flower is actually a pretty tough little plant. That's mostly because of the fact that it can grow in almost any type of soil or weather condition and still manage to look good. It also has a really long stem which means that you're going to get more flowers for your buck when you decide to grow these in your garden.

Hollyhock

The hollyhock flower is also known as the alcea rosea. People say that it looks a lot like the sunflower and the Queen Anne's lace with its fat petals and interesting little leaves on top of them. It doesn't have much use other than being pretty, but some people decide to add them to their garden so that they can have them look at the entrance.

Honesty

The honesty flower is also known as the … well, you know what the name of it is. I like to think that because of its shape and color (which are both white) that it looks like a snowflake in my mind. It has this sort of frostiness to it that makes me think about falling snowflakes from the sky.

Honeysuckle

The honeysuckle flower is a really sweet-smelling plant. It's one of those types of flowers that makes my whole body feel warm and fuzzy every time I'm near it. If you want to get more information on the honeysuckle flower than just what color it is, then you should probably do some research on your own because I know very little about it.

Hosta

The hosta flower is a really pretty-looking plant. People like to grow these because of the variety that they offer. You can literally get hundreds of different colored hostas from just one type of seed which means that your garden will be almost endless if you decide to do this.

Hyacinth

The hyacinth flower is a really nice one if you ask me. Most people who have seen it during the spring will agree with me since that's when these are most likely to bloom. It has this brilliant blue color that just sort of grows on you after a while. The more I think about it, the more I want to grow one because I know that my mother would love it.

Hydrangea

The hydrangea flower is really unique because of the fact that it has a really nice and pretty blue color to it. But most people say that they like this flower for its shape more than anything else since it reminds them of a little girl with her arms outstretched in joy.

Hypericum

The hypericum flower is also known as the St. John's Wort plant. People don't really like this because it has a lot of thorns on it, but I personally think that they're pretty interesting because they stay there even when the flower dies off in the wintertime. They make me want to reach out and touch one just to see if they're as sharp as most people think that they are. The flower is also really easy to propagate so it's not hard to get your hands on more of them in the future.
